Application for Yahoo! BB ADSL
(for applicants who have working NTT phone service)
Needed Info
Before starting the application, you should have the following info:
- Telephone number to have Yahoo! BB installed.
- Contact phone number (e.g., mobile phone)
- Regular Email address (mobile, too, if you have one)
Desired Yahoo! BB Service
Yahoo! BB offers a variety of speeds. Which speed you should choose depends on not only your own preference (e.g., high speed or economy) but also your distance from the exchange office. If you requested an Availability Report, your distance is noted in there (unless we were unable to determine it, as sometimes happens). If you didn't get a report, then just choose the speed you want and, if we determine that it's inappropriate for your location, we'll let you know.
ID Documents
After filing the application, you must send ID documentation to verify birth date, if you haven't already. (Applicant must be 18 or older unless R-rated BBTV programming is requested in which case the minimum age is 20.)
ID can be Alien Registration Certificate, Passport, Japan Drivers License or other government-issued document. Documents may be faxed or scans sent by email. Sending a hard copy by postal mail is not necessary.
