Moving Flet's Service
Q. I have NTT Flet's service now but I'm moving. How do I move Flet's to my new address?
A. To move your Flet's service, first call NTT to arrange the move. Then contact your ISP to let them know the new address and change in service type (if any). It is recommended that you start the process as soon as you know your new address.
Availability at your New Location
Before arranging to move your service, you should check to see what services are available at the new location and how far you will be from the server (distance affects the speed of ADSL). In fact, the best time to do this is before you even sign the lease to make sure mansion-type Hikari (fiber optic) is already installed in the building.
If fiber optic service is installed in your new building, you may be able to get a faster connection at a lower cost than you're paying now. BBapply would be glad to do the check for you:

Yahoo! BB (as ISP for Flet's Hikari)
Yahoo! BB has no English support for Hikari services. Contact them in Japanese at 03-6688-5120 or go to the Yahoo! BB Member's Support page (Japanese only).
Arranging for Mail Forwarding
Probably the easiest way is to go to arrange for your mail to be forwarded to your friend or company. Go to any post office and ask them for a tenkyo-todoke (Change of Address Notice).
After submitting the Change of Address form, your bills will go to the new address. If you have been paying at the bank and close the account then, when collection fails, NTT will send statements by mail which can be used to make payments.
Note, however, that the post office will not forward mail outside Japan.
