Hikari Mansion Pricing–Western Japan

Flet's Hikari Mansion pricing depends on the type of service installed in the building (VDSL, LAN, Wireless LAN, or Hikari Haisen) and the number of subscribers that may be connected (Plan 1, Plan 2, etc.).

After you apply, you will be informed of the system type in your building and the charges that will apply. You will, of course, have an chance to cancel or change your service choice before the connection is completed, if the prices are unacceptable.

Pricing System

The monthly cost of Mansion-type service has two parts:

• The Flet's Hikari Access Service, which is provided and billed by NTT
• The Internet Service Provider (ISP) service, which is provided and billed by OCN.

It is necessary to subscribe to both the Access Service as well as the ISP service and BBapply has a combined application.

Monthly Charges

The cost of OCN's ISP service when used with Hikari Mansion is ¥997.5/month and is included in the prices shown here. Telephone services are not required to use Hikari Mansion and are not included in these prices.

The following prices include all the monthly charges:
NTT Hikari service, equipment rental fees, the OCN ISP service and tax.

Mini Plan = ¥5,722.5

LAN System:
Plan 1 = ¥4,672.5
Plan 2 = ¥4,147.5

Hikari Haisen System:
Plan 1 = ¥5,197.5
Plan 2 = ¥4,672.5
Plan S = ¥6,037.5
Mini Plan = ¥6,037.5

One-time Connection Charges

Under the current campaign, all the usual* one-time connection charges are waived except an ¥840 contract fee if you qualify as a first-time user and you apply by January 31, 2009.

If you qualify for the campaign benefits, you will not need to pay the following charges.

Connection cost of Mansion-type Hikari depends on the type of system used:

VDSL Plan 1 & 2:

*In some rare cases there may be unusual connection costs that are not covered by the campaign.

Contract Fee

In addition to the above connection charges, there is a one-time NTT contract fee of ¥840 that is not waived under the campaign.

NOTICE: There is no minimum contract period. However, if you receive the free connection benefit and discontinue using the service within 15 months, you will be billed back for the connection fee unless you continue using a Flet's Hikari service at your new residence. If Flet's Hikari is not offered at the new location, you may fulfill the usage requirement by using Flet's ADSL instead.
